Rapper, Agbeko, has officially begun rehabilitation at Pantang Hospital after initially declining help, fellow rapper, Edem, has confirmed.
In an update shared on X on November 21, 2025, Edem revealed that Agbeko reached out expressing readiness to seek treatment. Edem and his team at the Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG) immediately arranged for him to start rehabilitation and pledged to cover all costs.
“It’s with great joy that I share with all well-wishers and family that Agbeko reached out this week and said he was ready to get help. My team at VRMG and I arranged for him to begin rehabilitation at Pantang and pledged to take care of all expenses during his stay,” Edem said.
Agbeko’s decision comes just days after he earlier rejected Edem’s offer to let him join the rehabilitation programme at Pantang. His career has suffered in recent years due to prolonged struggles with drug use.
Public concern intensified after a viral video showed Agbeko asking media personality, Andy Dosty, for money to buy food. During an interview on Hitz FM shortly after, Agbeko revealed he had been introduced to drugs by an ex-partner.
The video sparked widespread reactions which encouraged Edem to intervene. Committed to helping a colleague whose talent once shone across the industry, Edem invested time and effort in guiding Agbeko toward recovery.
