Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, M.anifest shared photos from Blackstars’ locker room minutes before Ghana’s clash with Morocco on Monday in the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
The 39-year-old rapper who has been in Cameroon since Sunday was rallying support for the team.
“Locker room bandit. #TeamGhana. Shoutouts man like @OtiAdjei for hooking a brother up with an original Jersey,” he tweeted in addition to a photo from the locker room on Monday.
Before that, he also shared a video of the team singing in high spirit when they arrived for the game.
He wrote, “Best believe Black Stars dey enter the locker room with jama and vim locker room with jama and vim #TeamGhana #Afcon2021.”
The 2021 AFCON officially kicked off on Sunday, January 9, 2021, when host nation Cameroon beat Burkina Faso in the opening game after a colourful opening ceremony was held at the Olembe Stadium.
Unfortunately, Ghana was out-staged by Morocco with a goal in the fourth match of the tournament, leaving many Ghanaians disappointed.
M.anifest who has been using his social media to rally support for the Black Stars during the games questioned his followers on Twitter if the match was going to be a one-goal project for Ghana.
Sadly after the game, he came back to tweet, “Sorry oh. Wrong prophecy.”
