Regina Van-Helvert
Regina Van-Helvert, an award-wining TV and radio presenter, will be the host of the first-ever hospitality awards in Accra, NEWS-ONE can confirm.
The decision has come a few weeks after organisers have been deliberating on which Ghanaian presenter best suits the role.
She was chosen purely based on her professionalism, and she will become the first-ever female to host the award.
Regina is currently one of the youngest female presenters doing very well for themselves. She was recently in Nigeria to host the Pan-African Maltavator Challenge reality show, and she is receiving a lot of praises for it.
The hospitality awards is yet another opportunity for her to show her prowess and what she loves doing best.
The awards scheme, organised by 90 Degrees Events, is aimed at honouring excellence in the hospitality industry.
It basically targets persons working behind the scenes to build a strong image for hotels in particular.
It is scheduled for July 26 at the Swiss Spirit Hotels & Suite in Accra, and this will be attended by a lot of showbiz personalities and people in the hospitality industries.
Nominations for the awards were released a few months ago.
Nominees have been carefully selected from three to five-star hotels and resort centres which offer the best in hospitality service.
