The team at the Living God Temple area, Alajo
Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako-Atta, has promised to fix the bad roads in the Ayawaso Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
The Roads Minister made the disclosure when he and his deputy, Anthony Karbo, and the MP for the constituency, who is also the deputy minister of the Interior, Henry Quartey, undertook a major tour of the area on Wednesday.
It would appear that the MP for the constituency has had his prayers heard after persistently knocking on the doors of the Roads Minister to turn his attention to the constituency.
When the convoy arrived at the constituency, residents were enthused to see their MP and the Roads Minister inspecting the bad road network in the area. While some wondered when work would begin, others were optimistic that something positive would soon happen. Among the minister’s entourage were technical persons from the ministry.
Another disclosure which elevated the spirit of residents, especially those at Alajo, was the promise by the MP to light up the dark portions of the area with some 200 streetlights at vantage points.
The minister, MP and others went through the Kaneshie station at Alajo, Polo Park, Living God Temple and among other areas in the constituency.
