Big Event Ghana last Thursday, August 4 launched the 2016 edition of the Radio Television Personality (RTP) Awards at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
The RTP Awards is aimed at rewarding personalities who have over the years contributed immensely towards the development of radio and television in Ghana.
The launch of the event attracted a number of radio and television personalities as well as stakeholders in the creative arts industry.
At the ceremony, Prince Mackay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Big Event Ghana, promised a better awards scheme this year.
He promised an improvement in this year’s edition, adding that measures had been put in place to make the event historic.
Prince Mackay reiterated his outfit’s commitment to promoting the showbiz industry as a whole for economic development.
