Sarbah Hall Alumni Organise ‘Mpusuo’

An alumni meeting of alumni of Mensah Sarbah Hall of the University of Ghana, Legon was held recently.

During the get-together activity on campus, old and new members of the great hall dined and discussed how to raise funds for the completion of the Alumni Hostel Project Phase 2 being built by the association of Mensah Sarbah Hall.

The gathering began with a roll-call of all members of the association present, and witnessed a Cadet Corps parade inspected by the Alumni President.

In attendance during the March 7 activity were Difie Agyarko Kissi, Ghana’s immediate past Ambassador to South Korea, Betty Mould Iddrisu, former Attorney General, Lawyer Maxwell Opoku Agyeman, acting Director of Ghana School of Law, Lawyer Yaw Adjei A. Nketia, Lawyer Kofi Duah-Adonteng, the Hall Management, the JCR,  Okpo Traditional Council and many others.

The President of the Alumni Association of Mensah Sarbah Hall is Francis Albert Seth Nyonyo, Council of State Member for the Volta Region. It also has Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as its Life Patron.

The contract for the construction of the hostel was awarded to the Antarticca Construction Firm after a competitive bidding in 2010, after encountering several challenges.
