Seven Great Princes To Celebrate Brilliant Student

Gwendolyne Brown

One of Ghana’s top most first cycle institutions, Seven Great Princes Academy, is set to celebrate Gwendolyne Brown, a former student of the school.

The celebration is being necessitated by the exploits of Gwendolyne, who is blazing the trail in academia in the UK.

She topped in English Literature Advance Subsidiary Level, UK, and according to officials of the school, her achievement; acting as a worthy ambassador for Ghana is worth celebrating.

As a result, a comprehensive programme has been rolled out for the celebration, which includes a visit to the Presidency.

She is expected to arrive in the country from the UK next month.

She will later visit some high-profile tertiary institutions in the country – University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, UPSA and some media houses to share her experience with the public.

Her arrival also coincides with her alma mater’s academic week celebration scheduled for June 25 to July 1.

John Kojo Lucas, staff secretary of the school, said in an interview that “Gwendolyne’s achievement is unprecedented so management thought it prudent to celebrate her achievement; it is for Ghana, the school and herself.

We believe her visit will further boost the academic morale of the school that has established itself as a leader in BECE.

“We, at Seven Great, have always believed that if you fail to give your ward quality education in their youthful days, they lose their past and will remain dead to the future. We are the only school in the country which has produced a Ghanaian to score 100 percent in English Literature at the Advance Subsidiary Level in UK,” he added.
