Special Prosecutor Faces Removal As President Sends Petition To CJ

In a surprising turn of events, a petition to remove the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, has been received by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The petition has been expeditiously forwarded to the Chief Justice for further processing.

According to H Kwasi Prempeh, who shared the information on social media, the petitioner is said to be none other than one Martin Amidu, the immediate past Special Prosecutor.

The grounds for the petition to remove Kissi Agyebeng from his position are as follows:
