Stay Calm … Hearts Coach Tells Fans

Under fire Accra Hearts of Oak coach Sergio Traguil has told the club’s faithful to remain calm despite their recent blushes.

To him, the slender point difference between Hearts and leader Wa All Stars is enough reason for the  Phobians to be hopeful for their title aspiration.

Followers of the club have expressed worry over the club’s current poor run-losing heavily to WAFA and following with a draw to Techiman City in Accra on Saturday.

Since taking over from Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi at the beginning of the second round, the Portuguese tactician has struggled to win before home fans.

The call for his head according to the coach is normal considering the fact that they lost the top position and have allowed their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko to close the points difference between them.

But he has pointed out that winning the league title is still within the club’s reach and has therefore asked the fans to stay calm.

He said in an interview that “We are just a point behind Wa All Stars so why should I feel any pressure.”

“I agree with the fans but I want them to stay calm because we are still in the race.”

Hearts are occupying the third position on the log with 40 points with six matches to the end of the  season.

They will travel to play All Stars in an expected uncompromising midweek clash tomorrow.
