Musician, Stonebwoy on Thursday joined the people of Ashaiman and the Municipal Chief Executive, Albert Boakye Okyere to clean up some choked gutters in the Ashaiman township.
This was part of the National Cleaning Day Exercise launched by President Akufo-Addo. The exercise was also part of plans for Stonebwoy’s annual Ashaiman To The World Festival which has been slated for September 1 to 3.
The festival is expected to bring several visitors to Ashaiman township to celebrate with Stonebwoy.
A video in circulation captured the ‘Therapy’ crooner descending into the dirty gutters of the town.
A large crowd at the scene hailed and praised him for his decision to be part of the exercise.
To them, Stonebwoy is leading a good example for youth to emulate and keep the town clean.
“Cleanliness is Next To Godliness… Joined the MCE And The People Of Ashaiman To Participate in the National Cleaning Day Exercise. Health is Wealth, clean Earth. Join Us On the 1-3 Sept,” Stonebwoy tweeted after the exercise.
