Nana Ama McBrown
Actress Nana McBrown has pledged support to calls on Ghanaians to take action against all forms of child abuse.
This follows her recent naming as an ambassador for Ghanaians Against Child Abuse (GACA) campaign together with music star, Wiyaala.
The GACA is a child protection social campaign that is expected to stem the rising cases of child abuse in Ghana.
It was launched at the 2017 Universal Children’s Day celebration in Accra on Tuesday, November 21 by the Ministry of Children & Social Protection, in collaboration with Ministry of Local Government, UNICEF and Samira Bawumia.
The campaign is expected to be the beginning of a mass movement of Ghanaians to demonstrate commitment to putting children first by stopping all abuses against children in Ghana.
The beautiful actress has been asking Ghanaians to join the fight against child abuse.
“Be part of Ghanaians Against Child Abuse,” she said on Instagram on Wednesday to amass attention for the campaign.
Nana Ama also told NEWS-ONE how happy she is to be part of the campaign.
Nana Ama, born Felicity Ama Agyemang, is no doubt a versatile actress. She is talented and is equally good at music. She is one of Ghana’s actresses who plays good football and has great appeal for TV commercials. Above everything, else she is humble. Nana Ama’s rise to stardom began with ‘Asoreba’, a local movie in which she put up an exceptional performance. She moved on to star in English language films aside Twi language films. This has won her different levels of movie enthusiasts and no wonder she was chosen for the GACA campaign.
