Strongman, Medikal Throw Lyrical Punches

Medikal

Strongman and Medikal threw jabs at each other in different ‘diss’ songs they released over the weekend to not only attack each other, but also show off their rap supremacy.

The attacks started with Medikal, who first released the song ‘To Whom It May Concern’, to stand his grounds on an earlier tweet last week that he is Ghana’s best rapper.

In the song directed at Strongman, Medikal said his girlfriend (Fella Makafui) even has more hit songs to her credit than Strongman.

Strongman later Saturday replied with another ‘diss’ song titled ‘Don’t Try’.

In ‘Dont Try’, Strongman described Medikal as an “SS leaver” and advised him to “hold his heart” before talking to “graduates”.

The two artistes were in the trends on Twitter on Saturday after Strongman’s reply.

Many music followers thought Strongman outshined Medikal, who allegedly tweeted later that he was not replying any underground artiste (Strongman).

But to everyone’s surprise, he went on to release another song titled ‘Last Burial’ in reply to Strongman’s ‘Don’t Try’ on Saturday.

Most music enthusiasts were disappointed over the song because it contained ‘dirty lyrics’, which some industry stakeholders described as “bad”.

Ghbase alleged Medikal’s second song was an old freestyle he did, and he just rebranded it with insults and gave it another name.

But that was not an enough reason for Strongman to keep quiet. He came back on Twitter Sunday morning with ‘Immortal’, a song which has been described as having good arrangements, coherent and is on point.

In one of the jabs he threw at Medikal, he asked who will choose Fella Makafui over Sister Deborah, Medikal’s ex-girlfriend. He also made fun of Medikal’s rap ability.

Many expected Medikal to reply, but as of press time Sunday night, NEWS-ONE hasn’t heard anything new from him.
