Supplements South Africa (SA) in collaboration with the Mall Pharmacy has presented 50 food supplements to the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) ahead of tomorrow’s National Championship, Man Ghana 2018.
It was Kwame Asante Appiah and Kobby Asante Appiah, who made the presentation to the president of the GBFA, Abdul Hayye Yartey, at the Mall Pharmacy in Accra.
Kobby Asante Appiah, CEO of the Mall Pharmacy, said his outfit knows the importance of health and fitness and that’s one of the main reasons why they decided to support the GBFA in their aim to promote health and fitness in Ghana
He said, this is not going to be a one day support but annually, promising a massive support for the event and the GBFA next year.
The president of the GBFA, Mr Abdul Hayye Yartey, was full of praise for the kind support given to the GBFA and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the association and the athletes.
The nation’s biggest bodybuilding championship, Man Ghana, will be staged on the 1st Of December, 2018 at the National Theatre. This year’s event is code named “The Battle Of The Gladiators”.
This year’s event will be the 11th edition and will have two different categories; Men’ Physique and Female Bikini added to the Men Bodybuilding. It will be an exhibition of muscles and fitness on one stage.
Previous winners are; Samuel Asante aka Obour in 2006, Christopher Antoh aka Sabato in 2007, Kofi Salia aka Asase in 2008, 2009 and 2010, Yaw Azure aka Sweet In 2012, John Anum aka Agogo in 2014 and 2017, and Cyrill Kofi Adja In 2015 and 2016.
