Solomon Klutse
Solomon Klutse, an Okada rider, has been arrested for allegedly attacking a Forex Bureau at Kinsby, near Mile 7 area in Accra with his gang.
Klutse, 22, was arrested last Thursday during a routine check by the police after receiving several complaints from residents.
A search conducted on him revealed a loaded locally manufactured pistol.
Police reports revealed that the suspect and his cohorts, during the attack, shot an attendant in the arm before escaping.
Confirming the story to DAILY GUIDE, ASP Efia Tenge, the Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), said on September 16, around 3pm, two men using a motorbike attacked a Forex Bureau at Kinsby area.
They stole an unspecified amount of money from the attendants and in the process shot one of the attendants in the arm after which they escaped with their booty.
On September 27, 2017, the same gang attacked a mobile money attendant and robbed her of the daily sales after which they bolted on a motorbike.
After the attack, police mounted a search for the armed robbers and those using motor bikes at odd hours.
In the process, Solomon Klutse was apprehended and the police discovered the locally manufactured gun on him.
One of his accomplices managed to escape.
He is currently assisting the police in their investigations.
