Ahead of the election 2024 and the Christmas festivities, Nii Klɔtia Ayikwei Tutu Alamŋlɛ Tabora Mantsɛ has pledged to utilise resources at his disposal to bring about development and unity within the Asere-Kotopong of Ga Mashie in the Greater Accra Region.

Speaking at his induction ceremony at the Asere  Mantɛ palace in Kaneshi Accra, Nii Klɔtia Ayikwei Tutu Alamŋlɛ who also doubles as chief of the Asere-Kronaa and Neefu Jorbu-We under the stool name  Nii Akwashong I underscored the relevance of industrialisation to the growth and development of society.

According to him, industrialisation is the panacea in empowering the youth in the Ga Mashie enclave as it has the potential to increase export, foreign exchange earnings, income, taxes, employment, and the attraction of foreign direct investment.

“I am bent on ensuring that every youth within the Ga Mashie and its environs benefits from my industrialisation drive. This drive is to ensure that the youth get a hands-on job to cater for their daily needs and those of their immediate family to help prevent any negative practices,” he said.

Nii Klɔtia Ayikwei Tutu Alamŋlɛ further entreated the youth especially motor riders to observe road safety rules ahead of the Christmas season.

“Over the years, there has been a hike in road accidents during Christmas and the political season. I’m appealing to my youth to be cautious this festive season in order to reduce the accident cases recorded,” he added.

Similarly, Naa Amorkor Shikafutru I, who was also inducted as Amartsɛ-We Manyɛ pledged her commitment to championing computer literacy through the provision of a model computer laboratory that will serve the Ga Mashie community.

“Given how common computers and the internet are in the information age there is a need to enhance my computer literacy project which seeks to educate the young ones on the relevance of social media and technology in today’s era” she said.
