Tema Lube Oil Donate Towards Farmers Day

Premier lubricant manufacturing company in Ghana, Tema Lube Oil Company Limited (TLOC), has donated several bicycles to the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) towards the 33rd Tema Regional Farmers’ Day.

The company donated a total of 19 bicycles valued at GH¢8,000 to help in the movement of the award-winning farmers.

Presenting the items, Amos Donkoh, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tema Lube Oil, explained that the company has been involved in the celebration of farmers since its inception to empower farmers in the country.

According to him, the company was happy to be associated with the celebration of hard-working farmers who have contributed immensely to the socio-economic development of the nation.

The CEO further stated that the bicycles would support the farmers, who have worked very hard to feed the nation and also support the national economy.

He said the company would continue to support the agriculture sector to create many jobs for the youth.

The Chief Executive (MCE) of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA), Felix Nii Annang-La, who received the bicycles on behalf of the assembly, expressed happiness and appealed to other institutions to emulate the shining example.

He expressed gratitude to the board and management of the Tema Lube Oil and hoped that the donation would go a long way to assist the farmers to hold the event.

TLOC manufactures steel drums for packaging the lubricants.

It also produces automotive oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, industrial oil and marine oil under franchise for distribution to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
