Theatre Performance At CNC Sunyani

‘Honeymoon Hotel’, a satirical comedy written and directed by Stephen Yaw Oppong, will on Sunday, July 2 be performed at the Centre for National Culture (CNC) in the Brong-Ahafo regional capital, Sunyani.

The play tackles numerous problems in relationships and marriages leading to rampant divorces and broken hearts. It prescribes various indicators one should look out for to have a very successful relationship or marriage.

Stephen Oppong, CEO of Reflections Multimedia Productions and a final year student at University of Education, Winneba, majored in Directing & Introduction to Playwriting in Theatre Studies at the undergraduate level.

A promising director, his plays have been performed for various corporate bodies and academic institutions across the country. He has equally authored over 20 plays in the past two years.

The performance forms part of activities marking the 10th anniversary of the enstoolment of Oboaman Dr Bofotia Boa-Amponsem, Krontihene of Sunyani Traditional Area.
