Two Agbazo Robbers Jailed 17 Years Each

A Circuit Court in Amasaman has sentenced two accused persons, Lawrence Fumato, alias Rasta, 28, and Daniel Dzoka, alias Alkaline, 20, for their involvement in a robbery attack on two victims at Agbazo near Golden Exotic Farm, a suburb in Accra.

The accused persons attacked and robbed the victims on November 12, 2025, using a pair of scissors. Stolen items included a Royal 150 motorbike, Samsung mobile phone, Tecno Spark 8 phone, itel keypad phone, and cash of GH¢4,000.

According to the Head of Public Affairs, Ghana Police Service, Supt. Juliana Obeng, following intelligence-led operations, the suspects were arrested on November 17, 2025, under the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29). She said the court sentenced both convicts to 17 years imprisonment each, with the sentences to run concurrently.

The Accra Regional Police Command commended the community for its cooperation, and encouraged the public to continue supporting police efforts by reporting all criminal activities through emergency numbers 18555 or 191.
