International fashion model, Victoria Michaels, hosted a two-day fashion event dubbed the Fashion Future Summit over the weekend in Accra.

The event, organised by her platform, Fashion Connect Africa, took place on March 7 and 8 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and brought together designers, entrepreneurs, creatives and other stakeholders in the fashion industry.

The summit featured panel discussions, exhibitions and networking sessions aimed at promoting innovation, sustainability and collaboration within Africa’s fashion sector.

Activities on the first day included a summit and exhibition in the morning, followed by a fashion reception in the evening where participants interacted and shared ideas on the future of fashion.

The second day continued with exhibitions and ended with a special celebration to mark International Women’s Day, highlighting the contributions of women to the fashion and creative industries.

The event also featured runway showcases from brands including Lush Hair, Designs by Kala Blaq and Designs by Calcut.

Organisers said the Fashion Future Summit was created to provide a platform for African fashion talents to connect, showcase their work and position their brands on the global stage.
