PRESIDENT NANA Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has pledged to “fix” the Eastern Corridor which his rival, ex-President John Mahama claims to have built during his tenure in office.
Mr. Akufo-Addo speaking to residents in the Volta Region where he is embarking on a three-day tour, lamented that contrary to claims by Mr. Mahama that he undertook unprecedented infrastructural developments nationwide during his term in office from 2012 to 2016, “the roads throughout our country are in a poor shape.”
President Akufo-Addo could not fathom what kind of construction works were carried out on the Eastern Corridor road by ex-President Mahama National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government as he claims the road was full of potholes as he traveled on it during his tour.
