Flashback: The exhibition foyer of WAMPCO 2023
The West African Mining and Power Exhibition and Conference (WAMPOC) begins today in Accra.
The three-day conference themed, “The Mining and Power Hub: Driving Sustainable Investment Opportunities in West Africa,” will end on June 7, 2024.
The conference is expected to host industry leaders, investors, government officials, and stakeholders from across the globe.
There will be over 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in mining and power technologies, products, and services.
Confirmed high-profile attendees include the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, Dr. Suleiman Koney as well as industry experts and thought leaders who are expected to participate in panel discussions and presentations, covering critical topics such as critical minerals development, sustainable mining practices, renewable energy integration, and investment opportunities.
The event aims to highlight and explore sustainable investment opportunities within the mining and power sectors in West Africa, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among industry stakeholders, fostering innovation, and best practices.
