Felix Annan
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan believes his side are in the best of shapes for the African challenge.
The team is currently preparing feverishly for their CAF Confederations Cup second round game against Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks.
And as part of preparations, the Porcupine Warriors, currently based in Dawu in the Eastern Region have scored six goals in two games.
Last week, they posted a 3-0 win over Premier League side, Inter Allies in a preparatory game and followed it with another stellar showing against the Black Meteors, the national U-23 side.
Anan after keeping a clean sheet against Ibrahim Tanko’s side on Sunday said “We are playing very well. The new players are jelling very well with the old players. We are in good shape.
“We are not going to Kenya to settle for a draw. We are going there to win so that the second leg will be a mere formality. We have a strong squad to achieve that.”
Kotoko are expected to leave Ghana for Kenya this week for their game against their Kenyan counterparts on Friday.
Below is the list of the contingent expected to make the trip.
