Wendy Shay Gets Competition At RuffTown Records

Fantana

RuffTown Records, the label that manages Wendy Shay, on Monday announced a new artiste with the brand name Fantana.

The announcement came with the release of her new single titled ‘So What?’. Produced by MOG Beatz, the song is a fusion of Afrobeats and dancehall rhythms

It was released along with a very colourful video which was shot on locations in South Africa and directed by Yaw SkyFace.

Fantana’s arrival is being tagged as an addition to the number of female artistes in the music scene. A number of showbiz observers have since been welcoming her.

Meanwhile, a question lingering on the minds of many showbiz observers is if she will be a competition to her label mate Wendy Shay, who has been with Rufftown Records for over year now.

Wendy Shay was first announced at the 2018 VGMA by Bullet. She joined another artiste by name Mz Forson at RuffTown.

However, for unknown reasons, Mz Forson left the label four months ago to join D-Black’s Black Avenue Muzik.

Speculations were that she didn’t get an opportunity to release any of her works at RuffTown, as too much attention is being given to Wendy Shay.

People are currently wondering if that could possibly happen to Wendy Shay if Fantana turns out to be a great songstress for the label.
