The aspirant and the TESCON members
The Assembly Member of Aboanim Krofofrom Electoral Area, in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region, who is lacing his boot to contest the National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr. Klinsman Karikari Mensa Tumfour, has entreated the youth of the party to work hard to ‘break the eight’.
The National Youth Organiser hopeful, popularly known as Hon KKM, on his mission, “Consolidating the Youth to Break the Eight” joined the TESCON-KNUST on a “Freshers Hunt” over the weekend, where he engaged them.
His message was to attract the youth into the vibrant political (NPP) youth wing and also understand the challenges the youth face.
He stated, “Every country’s development mostly depends on how the youth is included in the affairs of the country.”
According to him, “To make the long term difference, especially Breaking the Eight, young people across the length and breadth of this country’s challenges must be considered and addressed as a political party.”
He explained, “Also, the capabilities of the youth should not be undermined since that provides the youth with the opportunities to generate a desirable community change.”
Hon. KKM emphasised the need for the NPP fraternity to invest in the youth in various university campuses and all-volunteer groups which will lead the party to the achievement of its goals.
He concluded by appreciating the opportunity given him by the TESCON president, organiser, and other executives.
