112 Suhum Youth Equipped With Training And Start-Up Tools

In a significant move to empower the youth and foster local economic growth, Frank Asiedu Bekoe aka Protozoa, aspiring Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency, has successfully lobbied the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and Mastercard Foundation to provide training and start-up tools to 112 youth.

This initiative is a testament to Protozoa’s commitment to the development of his constituency.

The event, held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, saw the beneficiaries receiving essential tools such as sewing machines, dryers, ovens, gas cylinders, and various trade-specific equipment, including mason, electrical, welding, and barbering tools.

Additionally, participants were awarded certificates, marking a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey.
Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, CEO of the Ghana Enterprises Agency, graced the occasion and emphasized the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) unwavering commitment to youth empowerment.

“The NPP is the only government in the Fourth Republic that has consistently supported Ghanaian youth,” she stated, highlighting the party’s dedication to the nation’s future leaders.

Protozoa addressed the gathering, outlining his vision for youth empowerment in Suhum.

He pledged to ensure that all artisans in the constituency become self-sufficient, thereby fostering local economic growth.

He also advocated for partnerships among residents to create a business hub, promoting cooperative efforts to eliminate individualism in entrepreneurship.

“This initiative will not only provide financial independence but also create a sense of community and cooperation among our youth,” Protozoa emphasized.

He expressed gratitude to Mrs. Yankey-Ayeh for her support and urged the community to rally behind him and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming December elections.

Protozoa’s promise to prioritize the needs of the youth if elected is a welcome development for the constituency.

His commitment to empowering the youth and fostering economic growth aligns with the NPP’s vision for Ghana’s development.
