A total of 1,159 students made up of 21 Diploma students, 1061 undergraduates, and 64 Post-Graduate students graduated from the Wisconsin International University College Ghana (WIUC-GH) at the 15th Graduation Ceremony held at the Accra city campus over the weekend.
The Chancellor of Wisconsin International University College Ghana, Dr. Paul K. Fynn who officially launched the graduation congratulated the students for a hard-fought journey in their studies over the past years and urged Graduands to eschew too much talk and instead concentrate on creating innovative ideas to get themselves out of unemployment.
The President of Wisconsin University , Professor Obeng Mireku speaking under the theme “Role and Opportunities for Private Universities In Developing Africa’s Future Work Force’’ acknowledged how the University had embraced technology to make the transition to the new way of life seamless with limited disruptions in between.
Students who excelled in various fields were also recognized and rewarded with special awards.
