Mohammed Ibrahim and Malik Fuseini
Mohammed Ibrahim, 22 and Malik Fuseini, 21, have been sentenced to 24 months’ imprisonment by the Bole District Magistrate Court for stealing.
The Court presided over by His Worship Andrew Prince Cudjoe sentenced the two for stealing multi TV decoders at separate locations.
Malik Fuseini, who has been sentenced 18 months succeeded in stealing a multi TV decoder belonging to a nurse who was on duty at the Bole Hospital but was arrested by a staff of Ghana Immigration Service in the area.
DAILY GUIDE gathered that Malik Fuseini, an ex-convict, was jailed last year for stealing a motorcycle.
Mohammed Ibrahim, who was also sentenced 6 months, broke into the complainant’s room and stole a multi TV decoder and DVD player; he was also arrested.
The Bole District Magistrate Court sentenced the two on their own plea.
The Court fined Malik Fuseini to pay GH¢ 350.00 for assaulting the immigration officer who arrested him.
Meanwhile, workers of the Bole Government Hospital have threatened to embark on a strike over what they describe as unsafe environment.
According to them, about 20 members of staff of the hospital have been attacked and robbed of their valuables for some time now but nothing has been done to address the situation.
They appealed to the Bole District Assembly and the police to provide them with security at the facility to protect lives and properties.
