Nigeria Reports 216 new cases of Covid-19

Nigeria has reported 216 new cases of coronavirus.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the new cases pushed total confirmed infections to
54,463 as of Wednesday night, September 2, 2020.

It tweeted that some
42,439 patients had been discharged as of Wednesday night.

The Centre says as of September 2, total Covid-19 related deaths in Nigeria stood at
1,027.
