Philip Ansah-Andoh
The father of the lady at the centre of a fire officer’s penis biting saga is threatening legal action against Philip Ansah-Andoh, the embattled fire chief.
Pastor Agyei Kyei told Adom Fm that he would have no other option than to file a civil action against Mr Ansah-Andoh, the Techiman Municipal Fire Officer in the Brong-Ahafo Region, if the police failed to get to the bottom of the matter.
He said the whole world must know the truth about what transpired in the room between the fire officer and his daughter, vehemently defending her against any act of indiscretion.
According to Pastor Kyei, his 24-year-old daughter, Ataa Kyei, suffered injury on her hands when the fire officer allegedly pounced on her with intent to rape her last Saturday.
Pastor Agyei Takyi said, “My daughter bit his penis because the officer attempted to sexually abuse her.”
According to him, the daughter was asleep and heard a knock on her door, and thinking that her fiancé who had traveled to Accra was back, she opened the door only to see the commander standing at the doorstep.
According to him, the commander had brought in some dirty clothes which he instructed her to wash for him the following day.
The Fire Officer has reportedly stated in his statement to the police that the lady who bit his penis is his girlfriend, a claim she has strongly disputed.
However, the lady has told the police that the fireman attempted to rape her in the early hours of last Saturday at her residence at Techiman.
As a result, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has sharply reacted to the reported sexual misconduct of the officer by suspending him.
Following the media report, Chief Fire Officer, Albert Brown Gaisie, is said to have directed the Brong-Ahafo Regional Fire Command to suspend the officer in question for allegedly sexually assaulting the lady, who is a subordinate employed under the Youth In Fire module of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
