Dede Ayew
West Ham United defender Winston Reid has lauded Dede Ayew after Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Anfield.
The Black Stars deputy captain distinguished himself despite lasting 63 minutes.
His brilliance stirred the defender, who has underscored the impact of the former Swansea and Marseille man.
He told the club’s website that “Ayew gave us a bit of composure when it was needed, and it was good for him to get out and play the minutes he needed.”
“It was good to get Andy back out there, too, so hopefully we can start getting our players back in the squad.”
He added that “It was a good team performance, but I think we can still improve massively, especially in the beginning of each half.”
“We have to do much better because we haven’t been starting games well enough.”
“The guys give everything, so it’s not anything like that, but we need to do better.”
