Total Petroleum Ghana Limited supported the 4th Annual Innovation and Career Fair of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) held on 6th April, 2018.
Students had the opportunity to showcase their creative ideas through science and technology driven projects and applications.
It was a medium for participants to engage with major stakeholders in the mining, petroleum and allied industries and share ideas to find solutions that meet daily operational needs.
“Total Petroleum Ghana Limited co-sponsored the event to encourage entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation among the Ghanaian youth,” said the Recruitment, Training and Development Manager, Daniel Danquah, who represented the company at the event.
The fair attracted over 500 students and employees of the university, who not only got in touch with representatives from various industries but also familiarized themselves with the nature of their businesses.
Explaining further, Mr Danquah said that Total Petroleum Ghana Limited has focused on education for many years and thus supports a lot of educational initiatives and projects.
