Abena Yiadom, former channel manager of Adom TV and content developer, has been honoured with the media personality of the year at the 2023 edition of the Time Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards.
The event, which was graced by top showbiz and media personalities such as A Plus, Nana Romeo, Rev. Abraham Lamptey, Portia Asare, Jayana, Joe Shorting, Dada KD, Nakeeyat, among others, was held at the Estees Bee Event Center, East Legon in Accra.
She was presented with honoree award for her outstanding contributions to the development of the entertainment industry in Ghana.
Her citation reads, “For your outstanding contribution to the development of the entertainment industry, it is with great honour that (Konamah Entertainment), organisers of the Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards would like to honour you and motivate you to keep having positive impact on the society.
“This appreciation is in recognition of your contribution and selfless support to the entertainment industry.”
Having served the industry for more than two decades, Abena Yiadom has worked with many media houses across the country including Atinka TV, Adom TV, among others.
During the awards night, the CEO of the awards, Cecilia Gyaase Konamah said the scheme is aimed at celebrating excellence and hard work, and that she’s excited about this year’s edition because it has not been easy, but with God on their side, they have achieved a lot.
