Actor Prince David Osei Expresses Confidence In Bawumia’s Victory In NPP Primary

Popular Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei, has voiced his optimism that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will emerge victorious in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential primary scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Prince David Osei shared his conviction that Dr Bawumia is the most deserving candidate to lead the NPP into the 2024 general elections in Ghana. In his post, he addressed the recent surge in negative comments and doubts circulating online about Dr Bawumia’s suitability as the NPP’s flag bearer.

He wrote, “I have observed that there is a significant amount of negative comments circulating online regarding the selection of H.E. Dr. Bawumia as the flag bearer of NPP. I find it puzzling that these people express their doubts about his suitability to become president in 2024, yet they are so concerned and attacking him relentlessly. The responsibility to choose a leader lies solely with the delegates and electorate, so this reaction seems unwarranted.”

Prince David Osei went on to suggest that the criticisms and doubts surrounding Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy are indicative of a fear of his potential.

He acknowledged that despite the slanderous comments, he firmly believes that Dr Bawumia is the most deserving candidate to lead the NPP at this time.

“I have faith that victory is assured for Dr Bawumia on November 4th,” he declared.

He concluded by saying, “Forget the noise wai vote No 2 discerning delegates even an ex-president wants to come back to rule Ghana!! So?? 2 sure #itispossible NB: Your insults and trolls won’t change the outcome, please feel free to vent your anger and frustrations devoid of insults .”

Prince David Osei’s show of support for Dr Bawumia has garnered attention on social media as part of the ongoing political discourse as Ghana looks ahead to the 2024 elections.

The NPP primary on November 4 will play a significant role in shaping the party’s leadership and its path to the upcoming general elections.
