Police Chase ‘Bad Killer’

 

 

THE SUNTRESO District Police in Kumasi are currently hunting for one ‘Bad Killer’ over the death of Oscar Addae, a 20-year-old commercial vehicle-loading boy at Santasi Lorry Station.

Bad Killer, according to the police, allegedly, stabbed Addae in his lower chest area with a sharp object following a slight misunderstanding, leading to the death of Addae.

After committing the heinous crime, Bad Killer, sensing danger, fled the scene in order to avert arrest, and he has since not been found.

The heartbreaking incident happened on the evening of Friday, February 7, 2025, and it was said to have attracted a sizable number of curious people to the scene, who rushed Addae to the hospital.

According to a police statement, the Apire Police, which falls under the Suntreso District Police, were alerted that Addae’s dead body had been sent to the Hope X’Change Medical Centre.

“On 07/02/ 2025, at 19:30 hours, the Apire Police received a report from Hope X’Change Medical Centre about the death of a young man identified as Oscar Addae, a 20-year-old commercial vehicle-loading boy at Santasi Lorry Station.

“The deceased, with a deep stab wound to his lower chest, was brought in dead by some young men from Santasi. Upon receipt of the report, police officers from Apire proceeded to Hope X’Change Medical Centre, where they found Oscar Addae’s lifeless body in the male ward.

“He was dressed in a black shirt and jeans trousers, with a deep stab wound on his lower chest. Information gathered from the nurses on duty indicated that the deceased was brought in by some young men residing at Santasi.

“When questioned by the hospital authorities, they stated that Oscar Addae was stabbed by a man popularly known as ‘Bad Killer’ over a misunderstanding at Santasi Lorry Station. That after the stabbing, the suspect fled the scene upon noticing the deceased was bleeding profusely,” the police report said.

The body, the police said, was photographed and later transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Mortuary for preservation and autopsy, adding that “efforts are being made to arrest suspect ‘Bad Killer’ to face the law.”
