From Thursday, 11th June to Saturday, 13th June 2026, the Forecourt of the State House in Accra will come alive as Ghana hosts the 3rd Edition of the Ghana Horticulture Expo 2026, a premier gathering aimed at redefining the future of agriculture and agribusiness in Ghana.
Organised by the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE) in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and Ghana Export and Import Bank (Ghana Exim Bank), the Expo will bring together farmers, exporters, agribusinesses, investors, development partners, researchers, policymakers, students, and consumers under one powerful and inspiring theme, “From Soil to Sovereignty: Building Ghana’s Agricultural Self-Reliance through Innovation.”
Building on the success of its previous editions, the 2026 Expo is expected to be bigger, more impactful, and more transformative.
At a time when global food systems are under pressure and nations are increasingly prioritising local production and economic resilience, Ghana stands at a defining moment.
Despite the country’s rich agricultural resources and hardworking farmers, significant opportunities remain untapped within the horticultural sector.
The Ghana Horticulture Expo 2026 therefore seeks to provide a strategic platform that promotes innovation, value addition, export growth, investment opportunities, and sustainable agricultural development.
Over the three-day event, participants will experience vibrant exhibition of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, processed products, greenhouse technologies, irrigation systems, agritech innovations, packaging solutions, and export ready commodities.
The Expo will also feature business- to- business networking sessions, market linkages, and policy discussions designed to strengthen Ghana’s agricultural value chain and position the country as a competitive player in the global horticultural market.
Speaking ahead of the event, the President of FAGE, Davies Narh Korboe said, “Ghana possesses the land, the people, the climate, and the potential to feed itself and compete globally. Agricultural self-reliance is not merely an economic ambition; it is a national responsibility.
Through innovation, partnerships, and strategic investments, we can build a Ghana that grows what it consumes and exports what the world demands.”
His message captures the very essence of the Expo- a call for collective action, national pride, and strategic investment in Ghana’s agricultural future.
Beyond exhibitions and business opportunities, the Ghana Horticulture Expo 2026 is expected to inspire hope, empower young entrepreneurs, and demonstrate that agricultural remains one of the strongest pathways to economic growth, job creation, food security, and national development.
As Ghana moves toward agricultural sovereignty and export excellence, the 3rd Ghana Horticulture Expo 2026 stands as a bold and timely initiative that seeks to transform potential into prosperity.
