Abehinase Mantse Calls For Unity

Nii Kotey Susubribi Onyabrimpong I

Newly installed Abehinase chief (Mantse), Nii Kotey Susubribi Onyabrimpong I, has called for unity among the people of Abehinase in particular and the Ga community as a whole.

In a special introductory ceremony, he said to the various Royal Houses and Kingmakers at Ga Mashie that he would ensure the total development of his community and also ensure they remain united.

To him, staying united as a people is one of the surest ways that guarantee development. He promised to accord his elders and subjects alike the respect they deserve.

He told the media: “I must say I am really glad for the love my people and elders have demonstrated to me, accepting me in their homes and the various royal homes.

“It is high time we stopped pettiness and lived as one people; if we are together we will progress.

“I will do my best to correct wrongs that have bedevilled Abehinase and the entire Ga community to correct some erroneous impressions about Gas in general due to some acts perpetrated by a few bad nuts. I pledge to submit to all as I strive to lead by example.”
