Abena Akuaba
Afro-pop singer Abena Akuaba has released a new single titled ‘No Hit & Run’, which was produced by Danny Beatz.
Ever since she dropped her earlier singles like ‘Akomah’, ‘Libi Libi’, among others, Abena Akuaba has become popular on the Ghanaian music scene.
Her latest single, ‘No Hit & Run’ is a mid-tempo track which is neatly arranged with good rhythm and beat to meet the demand of Afro-pop music lovers.
She believes that the latest single, which is currently receiving massive airplay on most of the local radio stations in the country, will surely rub shoulders with those already on the music chart.
The music video which was released alongside the single, according to her management, was carefully packaged for both local and international music markets.
At the time of writing this piece, the music video had been released on YouTube and reports show it is receiving massive patronage.
Abena Akuaba, an actress and a model with international recognition, made Ghana proud by winning the Miss Beauty Universe held in Spain in 2016.
The former Miss Universe Ghana 2014 beat off competition from 20 other contestants to win the international beauty pageant.
An X factor finalist in 2012, Abena Akuaba has participated in international modelling competitions such as Top Model Ghana 2013 and Top Model of the World 2013, where she emerged top 15 out of 60 countries respectively.
She has modelled for most of the top fashion designers from the United States, Andres Aquino from Spain, Sushma Patel from India, Catalan from France, the late Kofi Ansah from Ghana and a host of others.
She has appeared as a guest on a number of television programmes, including Snoop Dog’s hit show, The Jokers Wild, as well as featured in Jennifer Lopez’s ‘El Anillo’ video.
