ABL Launches Club @90

The Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) has launched the 90th anniversary celebration of Club Beer with the introduction of the new Club Beer non-returnable mini bottle.

Customers are by the move no longer obliged to return the bottles which has been designed purposely for the celebration after consuming the alcoholic drink.

At the launch of the initiative in Accra, head of marketing at ABL, Chuka Nnaobi, said the introduction of the new product unto the Ghanaian market is one of the exciting packages the company will be introducing to show appreciation to its loyal customers who have kept the brand over the years.
He indicated that there will be other corporate outreach activities to be rolled out for consumers of ABL products during the celebration.

“Club is synonymous with the Ghanaian spirit and we are really proud of the journey we have come with Ghanaian since 1931 because it has not been an easy journey but we are proud of the love Ghanaians have shown us. So, today, we are really appreciating our Ghanaian consumers because without them we would not have come this far,” Mr Nnaobi said.

He also expressed a special appreciation to the customers of the brand who he said made the company’s success story possible.

“It is all about the customer, they are the reason we are here and are probably the biggest beer brand in the country. We want to say a big thank you to them and ask them to keep consuming Club,” he added.
Mr Nnaobi, however, cautioned consumers against excessive drinking of alcohol which can have adverse effects on their health urging them to consume the products within their limit to avoid any negative impact.

He said, the company was looking forward to expand its investments on the Ghanaian market for the mutual benefit of all stating, “consumers and Ghanaians in general are the reason we exist.”
