Bless Sefenu Agordjo in a handshake with Jefferson Seneadza
Aftown and MTN Ghana have launched a partnership to provide music lovers with a great opportunity to access their favourite African artistes and musical content in the easiest way.
Music lovers everywhere will have unlimited content for as low GH20p on Aftown, which has been in existence for the last three years.
Speaking at the launch of the partnership on Tuesday at MTN Ghana’s office in Accra, Bless Sefenu Agordjo, Senior Manager for Products & Services, MTN Ghana, stated that the partnership directly falls in line with MTN’s mission to delivering great digital wealth for Ghanaian musicians and beyond.
“I must say Aftown brings great benefits to both the consumer and the artiste. Our partnership with Aftown is a testament to our mission to give our customers a true music experience and it also allows performers and artistes another means to benefit from their works,” he said.
Head of Technology at Aftown, Jefferson Seneadza, tasked the public and musicians to take advantage of the great services Aftown offers.
“I encourage everyone to download Aftown and enjoy our services. The feedback so far has been amazing and we want all artistes to jump on board. The partnership with MTN Ghana means a lot to us at Aftown. We look to improving on it and it’s not only in Ghana but throughout Africa. With MTN, we look at taking Aftown across Africa,” he told NEWS-ONE after the launch.
Aftown’s Business Development Manager, Roland Ohene-Amoako, reiterated the importance of the partnership, highlighting that “it promises great opportunities for both platforms, music lovers, and artistes as well.”
“Aftown since its inception has always tried to look out for the artistes while still taking into consideration the needs and capabilities of the consumers of music. Aftown has always aimed to help the artistes make money from their craft, while bringing them closer to their fans as well,” he also added.
With its music streaming platform, Aftown has revolutionised the African music industry, thus, making their partnership with MTN to bring music lovers more contents for much less, an interesting step for the platform.
Currently, Aftown remains Ghana’s most recognised indigenous music streaming service and an online music platform that provides a maximum musical experience at the most affordable price to all lovers of African music.
Its key mantra is to always put its artistes first whilst providing customer focused easy access to music from all over the African continent.
MTN Ghana is also one of the telecommunications giants in Africa. It is also one of the few telcos that are concerned about artistes, not only producing contents but also making good income when it comes to selling of their music.
