Abrantie Amakye Dede over the weekend joined the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to campaign for votes at Agogo in the Ashanti Region.
He mounted the campaign platform together with the NPP presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, when the party’s campaign train reached Agogo.
The musician performed some of his mega hits to entertain the crowd, and was reported to have asked the crowd to vote for the NPP because the party had promised to help curb the Fulani menace that has tormented residents of Agogo in recent years.
Indeed, Nana Addo also promised on the same platform that if voted into power, he would ensure that the torture and torment from the Fulani herdsmen would be a thing of the past
“Brazil has a population of 200 million people and 213 million cattle. There are more cattle in Brazil than human beings. However, ranching and the implementation of policies have ensured that this situation has not created any problems. Humans do not mingle with the cattle. These are the kinds of policies we are coming to put in place, when, God-willing, we win the elections, to ensure that this Fulani menace is ended once and for all,” Nana Addo mentioned.
