The new Amen Scientific Herbal CentreA
Amen Scientific Herbal Centre has officially inaugurated its new ultra-modern building in the Klagon community of Accra.
The newly opened branch becomes the latest addition to the list of the centre’s outfits spread across the country, totalling 17.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amen Scientific Herbal Centre, Sheikh Amin Bonsu, extended his gratitude to successive governments for their contributions towards the development of alternative/traditional herbal medicine practice in the country.
He stated that facility would continue to provide safe, efficacious, alternative and complementary medication to the people of Ghana by offering a comprehensive treatment for disease conditions.
Sheikh Bonsu disclosed that the facility has a 50-acre plantation in Kumasi where plants are cultivated and used for manufacturing of medications at their main production site.
“Quality control procedures are also adhered to strictly to ensure that all medications meet approved standards by regulatory authorities. They are screened thoroughly at different stages to ensure efficacy, consistency in quality and safety,” he said.
He also indicated that his facility has had immense socio-economic benefits on the country, including reduced burden on the orthodox health sector by providing an alternative healthcare to Ghanaians and employment for healthcare personnel.
Sheikh Bonsu made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to patronise herbal treatment at the Amen Scientific Herbal Centres in the country.
A representative from the Ministry of Health (MoH), in a speech, commended Sheikh Bonsu for the great strides they were making in the health sector of the country and assured them of government’s full support, saying, “Government is always ready to step in to help you in times of need.”
The newly opened Amen branch has an out-patient department (OPD), consulting rooms, medical laboratories, non-linear system diagnosis, a dispensary and an ultra-sound scan, as well as physiotherapy and homeopathy departments
