Amerado performing live on stage
Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Amerado, delivered a stunning performance as he dazzled fans at this year’s edition of the annual Ghanafest in Chicago, in the United States of America (USA).
Held on July 27, 2024 at the picturesque Washington Park in Chicago, the event also aims to unite the American-Ghanaian communities on one platform to celebrate Ghanaian music and customs.
It was organised by the Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago to celebrate Ghanaian culture, music, and heritage.
The event featured an array of cultural activities, including traditional Ghanaian dances, fashion shows, and a variety of food vendors offering authentic Ghanaian cuisine.
The event, which attracted over thousands of music fans as well as people from all walks of life, kicked off on a promising note, and Amerado performed his heart out to the expectant crowd.
He treated music fans to a collection of his popular hit songs such as ‘Kwaku Ananse’, ‘Tin Ton Tan’, and ‘Abronoma’, among others.
He gave a good account of himself on stage and had a very strong stage presence. It was exciting to see the crowd’s reaction when he unleashed some of his popular hit songs.
It was amazing how Amerago connected with music fans in Chicago, as they kept screaming for more after his performance on stage.
