In a tragic incident, the Police have confirmed the death of one of their officers during a robbery incident that shook Ahodwo, Nhyiaseo in Kumasi during the early hours of Thursday, June 27.
According to official sources, the robbery took place around 1am on June 27, 2024, leading to the loss of the officer.
In response to this heinous crime, law enforcement swiftly took action and apprehended one suspect believed to be involved in the incident.
A statement released by the Police indicates that an ongoing intelligence operation is in progress to track down and arrest the remaining suspects involved in the robbery.
“The Ghana Police Service has arrested one person for robbery which occurred at about 1am on 27th June 2024, at Ahodwo, Nhyiaeso, in the Ashanti Region, resulting in the death of a Police officer.
“An intelligence operation is underway to get the remaining suspects arrested to face justice,” the Police statement read.
