A hotly-contested race is expected at the Cape Coast Stadium when Greater Accra, Central and Western regions clash to determine who is the fastest this Saturday.
The competition’s founder, Reks Brobby, has said plans are in place for the athletics meet.
It is the second meet this year after the Tamale event to select the fastest sprinter; male and female in U-15, U-18 and seniors in the country.
“I can say for a fact that we are ready, so do the athletes too. We have logistics like electronic timer available to ensure that scoring is on point. We are expecting a hotly-contested race on Saturday,” said Brobby.
The GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human project, which primarily seeks to revive short distance running in schools, is in association with Adidas and sponsored by Moringa King, Kriate Lync, Wrenco Printing, Pipas Gym, Global Media Alliance and Sports Equity Lab.
