The late David Kwasi Asare Boakye
THE CAUSE of death of David Kwasi Asare Boakye, the District Chief Executive for Offinso North in the Ashanti Region, who died Monday morning, is yet to be established.
The DCE was receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) when he gave up the ghost.
According to reports available to DAILY GUIDE, Asare Boakye had been sick for about two weeks.
He was receiving treatment at his Akomadan base when his health condition started to deteriorate.
Asare Boakye was then sent to KATH in Kumasi for treatment but he sadly died on Monday morning.
The exact cause of his death has not been disclosed as post mortem is yet to be conducted on the body.
Meanwhile, scores of people have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family on social media.
Nicknamed as ‘Adwumakaase Awura’, the late DCE was widely known for being a hard-working person.
Under his tenure, his district experienced massive growth therefore his demise has created a huge vacuum.
