Addressing the ceremony CIMG National President, Dr. Daniel Kasser Tee added his voice to the many Ghanaians on the call for President Nana Addo to scale down and reshuffle his appointees as that will instill confidence and give hope to Ghanaians.
Many political and governance experts, worker groups and social commentators have, for instance, called on the President to scale down the number of appointees, particularly ministers, but these calls have yielded nothing.
Similar calls for a reshuffle of ministers, based on performance, to bring in dynamism and fresh ideas, have also not been heeded to.
“I may not be particularly in love with reshuffles, for doing sake, but I have, at least, ever worked with a young Dutch Managing Director, by the name Paul Cardoen. His philosophy was “Always Change a Winning Team”, contrary to what has been the norm, “Never change a Winning Team”.
The President’s Ball is the last official event that brings the activities of the institute to a close and provides the platform for the president to host a number of corporate executives, professionals.
Other activities during the event include the acceptance of marketing professionals into membership and the official closing of the CMG professional Marketing Qualification of the year.
