This year’s edition of the annual Harvest Praise Concert which will take place on Good Friday, April 7, was launched on Monday at the Harvest International Ministries at Tesano in Accra.
Harvest Praise is an annual gospel music outreach programme initiated by the Harvest International Ministries (HIM) in 1998 and held on every Good Friday.
The event has also been used to project local and international talents in the gospel music industry.
This year’s concert is scheduled to take place at University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) Auditorium, in Accra.
Dubbed the ’Silver Jubilee Edition,’ it promises to be an unforgettable experience as lovers and fans of gospel music will be beguiled to a night of quality gospel music on Good Friday.
Artistes on the bill to thrill audiences include Grammy award-winning American artiste Don Moen, Nigerian gospel artiste Moses Bliss, Harvest Gospel Choir, and a host of other surprise gospel artistes.
Speaking at the media launch, Dr. Gloria Folson, chairperson of the committee for Harvest Praise, said the upcoming event will be great as it marks its silver jubilee.
“Harvest Praise is the biggest gospel event that has featured all the top gospel musicians in Ghana, and this year will be moving a notch higher as the event marks its 25th anniversary,” she said.
