D-Black
Musician and entrepreneur, Desmond Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black, has called on Ghanaians to fiercely guard the country’s peace, describing it as a rare and divine blessing.
In a reflective social media post on Tuesday, January 13, 2026—which coincided with his birthday—the award-winning artiste highlighted Ghana’s enviable standing as one of the most peaceful nations in the world.
“Guys, we really are from one of the best (in so many ways) & most peaceful countries in the world,” D-Black wrote. “No matter what we go through personally and our struggles in life, let’s not take this for granted.”
He attributed Ghana’s relative stability to divine favour, urging citizens to embrace unity, love and collective responsibility.
“The spirit of the Almighty is with us here. We’re favoured and blessed. Let’s love each other and protect our own to the best of our ability,” he added.
