Ghana’s High Commissioner to India, Mike Oquaye Jnr. has welcomed Black Stars General captain, Asamoah Gyan to India.
The 33-year- old striker who last, spent a spell with Turkish club, Keyserispor, has signed for Super League side, North East United FC.
The Ghana envoy, who welcomed the forward on arrival, said “Ghana is proud of you. You have acted as a worthy ambassador wherever you have plied your trade, and I know you will do same here.
“We welcome your presence in India (To play in the National Football league), that will further cement India-Ghana relations, especially in Sports. Akwaaba!”
