Officials of the bank in a group picture after the encounter
MEDIA PRACTIONERS in the Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East regions have commended Fidelity Bank for giving back to society as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS).
The bank during its 50th anniversary constructed 15 model basic schools with ancillary facilities in different communities in the country.
“We want to make a positive impact in the communities we operate in,” said Eric Frimpong, Deputy Manager of the bank during an encounter with media personnel in Sunyani.
According to him, the bank has devoted GH¢ 40.35m to contract 15 basic schools otherwise designated as the Fidelity Young Initiative.
According to Mr. Frimpong, the bank has introduced many initiatives geared towards providing financial opportunities to its customers including a GH¢1.5m investment in the agricultural value chain to support and ensure food security in the country.
He urged customers to feel free to work with the bank because of the bank’s strong financial health having a capital adequacy ratio of 20.9%.
He said the bank was determined to bring banking services to millions of unbanked Ghanaians.
As a result of this, customers can open an account with the bank just within five minutes, he told the media.
“We remain loyal financial partners and wish to reiterate that Ghanaians can also succeed in the financial business sector,” he said.
The media encounter was held under the theme, “share vision, shared stories- collaborating for a sustainable future”.
